Turova
How it works

Four steps between you and a sleepless night

Turova senses, confirms, responds and records — all on hardware inside your van. No cloud round-trip, no signal required.

01

Sense the perimeter

LiDAR sweeps the space around your rig thousands of times a second to build a live 3D map, while a night-vision camera watches in the dark.

02

Confirm the threat

On-device AI fuses the sensors to separate a real person from wind, rain, branches and wildlife before anything escalates.

03

Respond instantly

Deterrents fire automatically — lights, a chime, a spoken warning — and a push alert reaches your phone in well under a second.

04

Record locally

The full event is captured to local storage for evidence, with optional encrypted cloud sync when you reconnect.

Step 1 — Sense

Two ways of seeing, so nothing hides

A camera tells you what something looks like. LiDAR tells you exactly how far away it is and how big it is. Running them together means darkness, fog and glare stop being blind spots.

LiDAR

Eye-safe laser ranging builds a centimeter-accurate 3D point cloud — and it supplies its own light, so total darkness is no obstacle.

Night vision

Low-light and IR imaging captures recognizable footage — faces, plates, clothing — for identification and evidence.

Step 2 — Confirm

Thinking happens on board, in milliseconds

Turova runs its detection models on an NVIDIA Jetson computer inside your van. There's no trip to a distant server, so confirmation is instant — and your data never has to leave the vehicle.

  • Sensor fusion

Multiple sensors must agree before an alert fires, which is what crushes false alarms.

  • Real GPU at the edge

Jetson's CUDA cores run vision and LiDAR models in real time on a tiny power budget.

  • Zero latency to the cloud

Decisions are made locally, so deterrents trigger before someone reaches the door.

How sensor fusion cuts false alarms
Steps 3 & 4 — Respond & record

From detection to deterrent to evidence

The whole pipeline, end to end — sensors on the left, your peace of mind on the right.

Layered deterrents

Escalate gently or loudly — from a soft chime to floodlights and a spoken warning, your choice per zone.

Local-first recording

Events are written to onboard storage immediately, so you always have footage regardless of connectivity.

Optional cloud sync

Opt in to encrypted backup and remote viewing for when you're away from the rig.
