How installation worksPricing questions
What is Turova?
Turova is an AI-powered security system designed for camper vans and RVs. It combines LiDAR, night-vision cameras and optional sensors, all processed on an NVIDIA Jetson computer inside your vehicle, to detect intruders and respond automatically — even with no internet connection.
Does it work without internet or cell signal?
Yes. All detection and decision-making happens on the Jetson board inside your rig, so the core system works completely offline. Push notifications and cloud backup of footage simply sync later when you regain a connection.
Are there monthly fees?
No. Turova has no required subscription. You buy the hardware once and own it. Optional cloud backup is available for a small fee, but every core feature — detection, deterrents, local recording — works for free, forever.
Will it drain my house battery?
No. In standby the system draws roughly 8–15 watts depending on configuration, which is less than a typical 12V fridge. With even modest solar it runs indefinitely. You can also set a low-power floor so it never takes your battery below a level you choose.
